Thespian State Conference
2024
In 2024, at the Oregon Thespian State Conference, Jayden and Haddie timed for the short film event. This gave them the inspiration to make their own short film. They started brainstorming the love story of two queer teens.
1st Summer
2024
Jayden and Haddie spent their time over the summer working on a script for their short film, but quickly realized what they wanted would take much longer than 20-30 minutes.
Going back to School
2024/2025
Writing slowly started falling back on the girls' lists of priorities as their educations took over. While they still had passion and wanted to work, the progress slowed significantly.
2nd Thespian State Conference
2025
After once again attending the Oregon Thespian State Conference, this time alone, Jayden decided they needed to fully commit to working on the film.
2nd Summer
2025
As the girls finally finished their first script, they decided this passion shouldn't die after completing this project. Jayden and Haddie decided to start Summertime Filmers as an independent studio to showcase their creative talents.
BIO
Run by Hadassah Rogers and Jayden Inara Chancery, Summertime Filmers is the place of creative expression for these two girls; an independent film studio to host the works of young, passionate minds.

There's no limit to what stories the studio may produce, or a limit to how many people can be involved in creating such pieces. Jayden and Haddie happily welcome any passionate souls who have something to contribute. This is the place for you and you're welcome to reach out.
